About ETC

What lies behind that impressive Manor-constructed "ETC" logo on the right side of the "The Axis" page?  The better question might be, "What doesn't?"

We consider the Etcetera portion of this site the "ever-expanding universe of cyberStately," the most active arm of SWMSWM.

In plain English?  With the most frequent columns coming along monthly (and the non-wrestling journals being seasonal...at best), starved-for-brilliance Stately's Studs & Strumpets would no doubt go criminally insane if not supplied with fresher content more frequently.  Lab tests conclusively prove "the anxiety caused by repeatedly clicking on bookmarks but finding nothing new at a website induces cannibalism in four out of five patients who chew gum"--and we're not about to invite grief from vegetarians over all the red meat SWMSWM is triggering the public to consume.

The Etcetera section--knock on wood with crossed fingers clutching a rabbit's foot--will be the place to look for more and more Manor memorabilia and Stately silliness.  In essence, it's everything but the magazine pieces, with a vast majority of the content exclusive to the internet, and more so, this site.

In many ways, ETC is the equivalent of Stately's online junk drawer.  This will be the place to find photos, miscellaneous manuscripts and other sage words, song lyrics, pranks, polls, contests, updates, artwork, approved links, the world's only online mirror...you know, the sort of odds-and-ends found in an offline junk drawer.  We'll make additions on a random basis rather than any sort of set schedule, hopefully creating an incentive and reward for coming here more often than the once a month the column section gets updated.

Note the use of the future tense in the above.  We didn't want SWMSWM to be another one of those sites that overwhelms one with with its massive array of content upon the first visit, then has little to offer thereafter.  Consequently, though you may not find all of the above-projected  goodies in the ETC area today, we have every intention of eventually uploading all forementioned features--and many more!
